OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

Coordinate repair centre activities to ensure timely, efficient, and quality-controlled processing of returned products and repair units, supporting production continuity and customer commitments.

 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES/ ACTIVITIES

  • Coordinate daily repair centre workflow to meet production and repair schedules
  • Plan and prioritise incoming repair jobs based on urgency, capacity, and production demand, liaising with the Repair Centre Lead.
  • Track repair status and provide progress updates.
  • Work with the Repair Centre Lead to ensure materials, tools, and documentation are available to support repair activities, where required.
  • Maintain accurate repair records, traceability, and system transactions.
  • Coordinate the strategic stock for supporting repairs.
  • Liaise with Engineering and Quality to resolve technical and quality issues.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective action tracking.
  • Monitor turnaround times and highlight risks to delivery schedules to the Repair Centre Lead.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve repair efficiency and reduce rework.
  • Assist with coordination of subcontracted repairs where required.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE and clean area requirements.
  • Support audits and customer inspections where required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTONOMY

• Responsible for operational coordination of repair workflows and reporting
• Works independently within agreed schedules and procedures
• Escalates technical, quality, or capacity risks to Production Manager
• Contributes to process and efficiency improvements

Wanted profil

REQUIRED EDUCATION & TRAININGS

  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment or support role outside or within ASN is essential.
  • Technical qualification or apprenticeship on Engineering , manufacturing or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Experience of Lean manufacturing principles an advantage

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & COMPETENCIES

• Experience in manufacturing, repair, or production environments
• Understanding of repair and refurbishment processes
• Good working knowledge of quality standards, documentation, and traceability systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
• Good planning, coordination, and organisational skills
