PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:

To provide test solutions, with associated documentation for the industrialization and introduction of new high reliability products into production. Provide technical support to production, liaising with R&D and support manufacturing to ensure any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

• Test bench design & Support
• Test software development & support
• Test bench installation & commissioning, SW integration and Regression tests
• Delivery to production team
• Check test solutions with Health and Safety team
• Create test design documentation including test instructions, specifications, drawings and verification plans.
• Liaise with SED and Technical leader on Technical ETS/DMTS issues
• Specific Product issues- Test failures/test issues
• Liaise with SED and Technical leaders on product performance issues detected during electrical/Optical/Performance testing
• Provide technical support to manufacturing including hands-on debug of test systems.
• Provide manufacturing support according to the business requirement (week day& week end)
• Training and support of manufacturing on new test process
• DR2M support – Issue of composite TIS & Test software
• Liaise directly with Database team
• Storage and analyse the test results
• Report on capacity increase to technical leaders
• Failure analysis on product returns from Calais/field
• Work closely with the R&D, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Production Engineering teams.

Wanted profil

 Degree calibre level in electronics or related disciplines.

• Proven track record in a test development environment.
• Design and application experience of production test equipment.
• Understanding of electromechanical production processes.
• Experience in developing tests for automatic execution.
• Knowledge / experience of cellular manufacture, Lean Manufacturing, kaizen, and 5S would be an advantage.
• Experience in working in Product Design and industrialisation as an engineer for at least 5-10 years
• Experience in High voltage testing & Low voltage testing
