The Marine Maintenance Commercial Manager is a commercial position within the ASN Services Marine Maintenance Commercial team, reporting to the ASN Services Marine Maintenance Director.
The focal point of the position is to manage the marine maintenance commercial activity in coordination with the Marine Operations team.
The Services Marine Maintenance Commercial manager will then prepare Bids Strategy and Sales Guidelines to the After Sales Regional & Marine Maintenance Services teams to ensure the orders volume. He is also responsible to anticipate the renewal of Marine Maintenance activity and identify business opportunities.
This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) in the short to mid term’, international travels will be required.
Main activities :
- Define the medium and long-term strategy by Regions in coordination with the Marine Operation department
- Secure Marine Maintenance Services short-term profitable growth for ASN
- Services Order Intake
- Services Gross Margin on Order Intake
- Responsible of the bids for marine maintenance,
- Defines and implement the process for bids and contracts for Marine Maintenance Customer Services, with synergies Marine Operation organization.
- Defines and supports the Sales strategy for marine maintenance,
- Supports S&M organization for bids and proposals for marine maintenance activities
- Conducting contract presentations and negotiations Ensuring the most cost-effective solution is developed and identifying all possible areas of optimizations
- Participate to Customer meetings on request
- Participate to the Conferences linked to marine maintenance activity,
- Maintain the relationship with our current partners
Profile required
Skills:
- Commercial experience in subsea markets,
- Solid experience in international contracts (legal aspects, terms & conditions, financing, risk analysis and mitigation)
- Talent of negotiation and good written and oral communications skills,
- Ability to negotiate prices, analyses market price & strategy
- Ability to analyze, challenge and synthetize information,
- Quick adaptability to match Customer needs,
- Ability for teamwork and to share information,
- Proficient in English. A second language such as Spanish would be a plus.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project
- Ability to travel worldwide even on a short notice
- Ability to negotiate in an international environment
