 MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure on-time release of Production /Transfer Orders in line with the master production schedule.
• Ensure on-time picking of Production /Transfer Orders in line with the master production schedule.
• Ensure the SAP stock record for materials are accurate and transactions occur in a timely manner. Investigate errors in the SAP WM/PP modules to ensure data quality is maintained.
• Ensure materials chased and are ready and available for production when required.
• Ensure Material throughput is in line with the agreed SLA.
• Organize accurate transaction of materials into stores WM locations and following onto supply all shop floor locations.
• Conduct and close stock counts as and when required.
• Identify and suggest improvements to the warehouse processes and systems to focus on value adding activity.
• Participate in regular departmental meetings and stock reviews as required.
• Work with the ASN systems teams in change implementation as required by their management.
• Ensure any permits used are within date and shelf life of products are maintained.
• Ensure all Oca’s are passed 4 times per year in areas where training is complete (One each quarter)
• Mentor new team members. Ensure they understand what is required.
• Build employee motivation & morale in order to be to productive.
• Communicate effectively with departmental colleagues & supervision.
• Build and Maintain good working relationships with department colleagues and team leader/supervisor.
• Assist Team Leader to ensure the section's weekly production demand is met.
• Participate in basic team briefings within section.
• Assist Team Leader in recording basic production metrics.
• Ensure personal Training Competency Records are up to date.
• Ensure personal training qualification/re-qualification plans are up to date. Liaise with Supervisor.
• Participate in personal yearly training reviews with section supervisor.
• Adhere to local clean area rules and protocols (ESD, COSHH, Risk Assessments, PPE etc).
• Report quality issues in a timely manner to team leader/supervisor.
• Participate in improvements.
• Follow the company H&S policy & behave in a safe manner.
• Report all Accidents & Near Misses in a timely manner to Supervision.
• Deal with personal issues (holidays, sickness, Timekeeping, grievances).
• Complete own weekly timesheet.
• Use of all system tools necessary for the job.

       RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTONOMY

•  Ensure timely and accurate material flow, transactions, and stock integrity in line with production schedules and SLAs.
• Own data accuracy within warehouse and SAP systems, investigating discrepancies and maintaining material traceability.
• Support production delivery by coordinating material availability and resolving supply or process issues.
• Contribute to operational efficiency by identifying and implementing improvements to warehouse processes and systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and handling standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional stakeholders to meet operational targets.
• Provide guidance to new team members and support team performance and engagement.
• Operate autonomously within established procedures, escalating exceptions, risks, or constraints as required.

Wanted profil

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role outside or within ASN.
