Description du poste

General tasks :

- To provide development for designated ARC Europe’s software applications

- To assist in troubleshooting and maintaining ARC Europe’s software applications

- To assist in the creation of long-term strategies related to the evolution of existing and new platforms to high-available, service-oriented architectures

- To keep up with technology evolutions in the IT landscape serving as an information resource for the team

- To advise on which tools, development standards, security standards and methodologies to follow

Additional responsibilities including planning, documenting, designing and developing new features for software applications per customer or internal specifications as well as identifying, troubleshooting and debugging defects in designated application code.

The more specific tasks :

- Write applications using primarily C# (including .NET Core) using .NET framework and Microsoft technologies in the backend and HTML5 and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, jQuery) in the front-end

- Developing service-oriented application components like SOAP and RESTful interfaces/APIs

- Be part of 2nd line support in case of problems with internally developed ARC Europe applications

Profil recherché

- A1 and/or equivalent degree in IT with at least 3 to 5 years of experience as .Net developer

- Passion for IT (studious, interested in new technologies)

- Analytical, but practical and solution driven minded

- Advance knowledge of:

• .NET framework
• .NET Core
• C#, LINQ
• ASP.NET MVC
• Relational databases (SQL Server)
• HTML, JavaScript ,Jquery, AngularJS and CSS

- Familiar with the following:

• Document based databases (MongoDB)
• REST API /SOAP
• TypeScript
• TDD (Test Driven Development)
• Microsoft Azure Cloud (Web Apps)
• CI/CD
• Python ( pandas/flask)

- Desire to continuously learn and grow

- Knowledge on best practices for application development and design (e.g. design patterns)

- Able to debug and troubleshoot

- Being able to work thoroughly, punctual and structural

- Being able to work independently and take initiative

- Capacity to work in team

- English is the primary language, other languages (French/Dutch/…) are a benefit but not a necessity
