Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Marketing Intern to assist with managing paid partnerships, handling affiliate marketing operations, and supporting the team in various marketing tasks (influence, content, emails and more). This role will work closely with our marketing team (3 people) to support the planning, execution, and tracking of campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive performance across various digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Affiliation:

Track affiliate performance metrics, such as traffic, conversion rates, and revenue generated.

Support affiliate recruitment by identifying potential partners and helping to onboard them.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective communication with affiliates.

Help create regular performance reports and analyze the data to optimize future campaigns.
Partnership marketing:

Manage relationships with Japanese stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of paid partnerships.

Coordinate marketing activities and promotions tied to prefecture-specific agreements.

Assist in negotiating partnership terms, ensuring all deliverables are met according to the agreed terms.

Maintain strong communication with both external partners and internal teams to align marketing efforts.

Track and evaluate the performance of each partnership, providing recommendations for improvement.

Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for improving search visibility and ad performance.

Monitor SEA performance metrics such as click-through rates, cost-per-click, and conversion rates.

Support optimization of ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies to maximize ROI.

Analyze campaign data and provide insights for improving search engine marketing efforts.
Influence marketing

Support in the definition and development of our influencer marketing strategy.

Reach out to content creators that are interested in collaborating with our brand and secure ROI positive partnerships.

Report on performance and share learnings with the team.

Deal with all the operational aspects of influencer marketing: contracting, invoicing, operations.
Content production / email marketing

Produce high-quality marketing content for various channels (email, social media, partnerships, print, events…)

Play a key role in defining our email strategy and creating email content for our target audience.

Define email journeys, create content and manage emails in our emailing tool and our customer data platform.

Report on performance of email campaigns and track impact on revenue.
Skills & Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business, communication, or related fields.

Fluent in French, full working proficiency in English is a must. Japanese is a plus.

Previous internship or work experience in digital marketing, SEA, affiliate marketing, or partnership management is preferred.

Knowledge of or interest in Japanese culture is a strong advantage.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
