The Deputy Manager – Application Support plays a key role in ensuring the quality, availability, and continuous improvement of marketing and customer-relationship applications within the School. The role supports the Manager in coordinating maintenance, enhancement, and support activities, ensuring service continuity and user satisfaction.

Within a continuous improvement approach, the position actively contributes to the evolution of the marketing information system and to enhancing the experience of students, faculty members, and administrative teams.

 

Key Responsibilities :

Communication and Coordination

  • Act as a key point of contact between business teams and the Information Systems Department, alongside the Application Support Manager.

  • Liaise with IT production teams for deployment follow-up.

  • Contribute to activity planning and reporting.

Application Projects and Enhancements

  • Contribute to marketing IS evolution projects and integration of new tools.

  • Participate in testing, validation, and deployment phases.

  • Ensure post-production follow-up and service continuity.

  • Propose technical and functional improvements.

Application Configuration Management

  • Ensure technical and functional monitoring of applications.

  • Analyze workload and contribute to planning and prioritization.

  • Ensure application quality, service level, and availability.

  • Coordinate corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance.

  • Handle complex incidents not resolved at Level 1 or Level 2.

Quality and Documentation

  • Apply internal standards, methods, and tools.

  • Draft technical specifications for complex build projects.

  • Maintain up-to-date application mapping and documentation repository.

  • Ensure knowledge capitalization and traceability.

Profile required

Required Skills and Experience :

The successful candidate holds a degree (Bachelor’s to Master’s level) and has at least 6 years of experience in application management, IT maintenance, or technical support within a structured organization.

  • Proficiency in databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL).

  • Knowledge of marketing tools (CRM, marketing automation, CMS, DAM, analytics, admissions tools, academic systems).

  • Knowledge of XML and PL/SQL.

  • Experience with academic ERP and/or CRM systems appreciated.

  • At least 2 years of experience in team coordination or deputy management.

  • Ability to support change initiatives while maintaining a constructive work environment.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.

  • Clear communication skills and strong listening abilities.

Languages:

  • French: daily working language.

  • English: good level required (European context).

Travel may be required to ESCP European campuses (Turin, Madrid, London, Berlin).
