Post description

  • Lead the setup and operational launch of the Brisbane warehouse.
  • Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process — from order intake to delivery.
  • Manage daily warehouse logistics, including receiving, inventory control, and dispatch.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Procurement, Finance) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and best practices for warehouse operations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the initial operations team.
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and cold chain management standards.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational performance, driving continuous improvement.
  • Prepare to scale the operation and assume full people management responsibilities within six months.

Profile required

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations management (food distribution industry preferred).
  • Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and perishable goods handling.
  • Proven performance in Sales
  • Proven experience in launching or scaling operational sites is a strong advantage.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and solutions-driven.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
