Japan Experience

We are looking for a hotel booking agent, with the following responsibilities:

As a hotel booking agent, your tasks will be as follows, mainly on group tours:

• Handle hotel, inns, and private lodging reservations, including cancellations, and changes, as requested by sales teams.
• Check regularly the accuracy of all accommodation reservations.
• Ensure that purchase prices are in line with budgeted targets
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly reports from our booking systems.
• Strive to improve our internal reservation processes and collaborate with other colleagues including sales teams.
• Actively contribute to strengthening relationships with suppliers.

These assignments are subject to change according to the company's needs and are carried out under the responsibility of the Hotels and Cotations Manager.

Profil recherché

• You are proficient in different systems for arranging hotel reservations

• You demonstrate a great attitude during issues solving

• You are proactively searching for our partners offers and opportunities

• You have a good experience with office software and using Mac

• Experience in hotels and/or with short-term rental platforms, hospitality operations, or traditional Japanese properties is a strong advantage.
• Professional proficiency in English and Japanese (Native or JLPT N1-N2) is required; French language skills are a plus.
• You are a resident of Japan with a valid work permit.

For all these missions a gross monthly remuneration is proposed comprising the following 2 elements:

• fixed part of 250.000 - 330.000 yens (depending on experience)

• variable part linked to the achievement of your OKR (Objective Key Results)

You'll be reimbursed for transportation costs (up to ¥15,000/month), and a health insurance plan.

We offer a contract, with a renewable trial period.

You will work 5 days a week for 40 hours from Monday to Friday.

Home office is authorized up to 2 days a week, once the training period is over.

Position is based in Tokyo, in our office in Kagurazaka, where 35 other Japan Experience team members work.

The position is opened from 2026, September 1st.
