Job description
Within our FTC subsidiary, dedicated to group guided tours in Japan, we are looking for a booking agent, with the following responsibilities:
As a Technical sales executive, your tasks will be as follows:

Assessing incoming requests for group and mixed group tours, via phone or video call

Preparing quotes (price lists and descriptions), with the best offer (competitive price, high-quality services, uniqueness and/or flexible payment terms) to meet client’s requests

Pre-booking hotels for the tour, coordinating with the group operations team to book all other tour components.

Invoicing clients and follow-up and satisfaction tracking.

Training on Japan and our products for partner tour operator sales representatives
Who you are?

You are a resident of Japan with a valid work permit
-
Have a good command of Japanese (fluent level)
-
Have a good command of professional English
-
Have a very good knowledge of the regions of Japan
-
Have a good knowledge of the professional network of group tourism in Japan (accommodation, transport, activities)

Be proactive
-
Have a good command of IT tools
For all these missions a gross monthly remuneration is proposed comprising the following 2 elements:

fixed part of 275 000 - 350 000 yens (depending on experience)

Quarterly variable component based on your sales performance
-
Annual bonus linked to the achievement of your OKR (Objective Key Results)
You'll be reimbursed for transportation costs (up to ¥15,000/month), a meal allowance of ¥750 per day and a health insurance plan.
We offer a contract with a 3-month trial period, renewable for 2 months.
You will work 5 days a week for 40 hours from Monday to Friday. Home office is authorized up to 2 days a week, once the training period is over.
You will be based at the company's offices in Tokyo, Shinjuku, Kagurazaka; working in a team of 5 people.
