Job Description

Primary responsibilities

• Effective management of sales enquiries

• Liaise with Ops Team to handle all booking aspects, including flights ticketing, accommodation, tours, and activities. (Processing cancellations and amendments)

• Arrange and deliver top quality and complex itineraries 

• Cross selling & upselling of all JE services and products

• Ensure client expectations are meet, providing expert advice

• Excellent knowledge of the product offering available in the JE catalogue

• Adequate management of sales & insurance contracts

• Deliver high levels of customer service

Other responsibilities

• Customer booking related financial activities (Processing payments, refunds and credit notes)

• Provide expert travel advice (visa requirements, passports, etc)

• Dealing with last minute changes 

• Dealing with issues and complaints 

• Editing travel documents 

Benefits and what we are looking for in a candidate

Salary : 30k per annum + bonus based on performance and achievement of company objectives and KPIs + other company benefits 

Education : Equivalent to college or university degree

Eligible to work in Germany

Language Skills

• English : Advanced (Business conversational level)

• German: Native or proficient for the Berlin office

• Any other european language desirable but not essential

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Technical IT Skills

• Google drive and documents

• Internet common applications

• MacBooks user knowledge (desirable not essential)

 Professional Skills

• Good knowledge of Japan (Prefectures, infrastructure, attractions) 

• Awareness of Japanese culture and society: Medium level

Soft skills

• Reliable & punctual

• Attention to detail

• Excellent presentation and organisational skills

• Ability to prioritise workloads 

• Target-driven and strategic attitude with the ability to work towards KPIs
