Our customer base is composed of Restaurants, Hotels, Independent Delicatessens, Retailers and prestigious Food Halls.
Repertoire Culinaire is part of a family-controlled group whose origins lie in the production of premium Charcuterie, Foie Gras and other Delicatessen products in France.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, safe and cost-effective storage and distribution of premium gourmet food products. The role oversees inventory accuracy, inbound and outbound logistics, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to support exceptional customer service across Hong Kong.

 

Warehouse Operations
•    Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing and dispatch. Willingness to be directly involved in everyday warehouse operations.
•    Ensure timely and accurate preparation of customer orders.
•    Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity and material flow.
•    Monitor warehouse productivity and implement process improvements.
•    Ensure efficient use of warehouse equipment and resources.

 

Inventory Management
•    Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and annual stock takes.
•    Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
•    Monitor stock rotation.
•    Minimize product losses due to damage, expiry or handling errors.
•    Coordinate closely with the Purchasing Department and Sales to anticipate stock needs, replenishment priorities and potential shortages.

 

Cold Chain & Food Safety
•    Ensure proper handling and storage of chilled, frozen, ambient and temperature-sensitive food and beverage products.
•    Monitor warehouse temperatures and maintain cold chain integrity.
•    Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety standards and local regulatory requirements.
•    Ensure cleaning procedures are properly followed, respected and regularly monitored 
•    Ensure the warehouse team always maintains high hygiene standards, including proper personal hygiene, clean uniforms and appropriate handling practices.
•    Coordinate pest control and sanitation programmes.

 

Logistics Coordination
•    Coordinate inbound deliveries with suppliers and freight forwarders.
•    Share warehouse constraints, receiving schedules and storage capacity updates with the Purchasing Department to support better planning.
•    Ensure efficient scheduling of outbound deliveries.
•    Work closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to meet customer delivery expectations.
•    Coordinate urgent deliveries and resolve operational issues promptly.

 

Health, Safety & Compliance
•    Ensure compliance with Hong Kong occupational safety regulations.
•    Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing warehouse safety procedures.
•    Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
•    Investigate warehouse incidents and implement preventive measures.
•    Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment.

 

Warehouse Systems & Reporting
•    Ensure accurate transactions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
•    Prepare regular operational reports for management.
•    Recommend operational improvements based on performance analysis.

 

Continuous Improvement
•    Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operating costs.
•    Implement best practices and process improvements.
•    Support implementation of new warehouse technologies where appropriate.

Profile required

Qualifications
•    Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse or logistics management.
•    Experience managing food distribution warehouses is highly preferred.
•    Experience handling chilled and frozen products is an advantage.

 

Skills & Competencies
•    Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
•    Knowledge of warehouse management systems and ERP software.
•    Sound knowledge of cold chain operations.
•    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
•    Strong customer service mindset and integrity.
•    Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
•    Team player with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment
